Mr. & Miss Autism Kenya 2026

Mr. & Miss Autism Kenya 2026

Where Inclusion Takes the Crown

Each April, as the world observes Autism Awareness Month, Mr. & Miss Autism Kenya takes the stage — not as a beauty contest, but as a bold, national celebration of neurodiversity, talent, and visibility.

Since 2017, this event has helped shift perceptions, raise autism awareness, and directly fund life-changing therapy services for children with disabilities from underserved communities across Kenya. In 2026, we invite YOU to be part of something even bigger.

Why It Matters

In Kenya, 1 in 25 children are now estimated to be on the autism spectrum. Yet many face:

  • Misdiagnosis or no diagnosis at all
  • Isolation due to stigma
  • Lack of access to therapy or support
  • Limited visibility or inclusion in community spaces

The result? Untapped talent, broken confidence, and missed potential — not just for the child, but for our country.

Mr. & Miss Autism Kenya changes that.
It builds platforms, safe spaces, and opportunities for children with autism to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

 Our 2026 Goals

  • Train and crown autistic children and youth as Mr. & Miss Autism Kenya
  • Host a national celebration with caregivers, advocates, and champions of inclusion
  • Fund year-round therapy, nutrition, and mentorship programs through the CleanPlate Project in Mathare
  • Launch a Talent Development Initiative to support children with autism in creative and academic expression

What Makes This Event Different

Inclusion at the center – The winners are children and youth with autism
